LKG introduces children to foundational academic concepts through joyful and engaging methods. At this stage, children begin learning phonics, letter formation, basic reading, number concepts, counting, and simple mathematical operations. The curriculum is enriched with storytelling, creative art, thematic activities, group discussions, and outdoor play to promote creativity and communication. Along with academics, children learn social skills, classroom etiquette, and emotional expression. LKG strengthens cognitive development while supporting overall personality growth.
